Fiscally Sound

By now must of you have heard about the “triggers” in the state’s budget and how it may affect some school districts in California. Whereas many school districts may have to cut their school year, increase class sizes and/or  lay off employees, MIUSD is happy to let you know that The Marcum-Illinois Board of Trustees have prudently planned for these possible cuts so that the Marcum –Illinois School District can continue to be fiscally sound while maintaining our quality of programs. There may be slight changes in how a program, for instance Gate or Drama, is offered but we will still be able to offer the programs.
