COVID Reminders
Good Evening Wildcat Families,
As you are likely aware, the number of Covid cases are rapidly increasing, even in our own
community. I am very proud of how our families and our staff are responding to these increases and
I am confident that we will all continue to do our best to keep our students and each other safe
and healthy. With that in mind, I wanted to send out a few reminders…
-If your child is ill or exhibiting any Covid- like symptoms please keep them home and notify
Stacey (530-656-2407, ext 11 or Staceys@sutter.k12.ca.us) to let her know of the absence
-If your child is a “close contact” (within 6 ft. for 15 min or more) of a Covid positive case,
please call me so we can make arrangements for short term independent study
-If your child has been tested for Covid and you are waiting for results, please keep your child
home and call me so we can make appropriate arrangements
-If your child tests positive for Covid, please call me so we can make arrangements for short term
independent study and notify any close contacts at school

We’ll work out the details together for your specific situation using the guidance provided by
Sutter County Public Health to ensure that we all stay as safe and healthy as possible.
As you know, it is our District’s intent to keep school open for the remainder of the school year,
and we are working hard to do everything we can to keep the students here with us, but we can’t do
that without your help! Please follow the guidelines and contact us if any of those situations
arise so we can continue making the best decisions possible for our school.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Sincerely, Maggie Irby
